SERVICE OF NATURE -
We have always believed in research that harnesses and helps nature to give us its best.
The decision to undertake organic farming, which we made over 20 years ago, makes it possible to produce wines that are perfectly approachable and enjoyable but without undue heaviness. But this is not all…To order to confirm this decision scientifically over the years, we entrusted the Chemistry faculty at the University of Parma to carry out some special research. This has shown that our wines are very rich – and richer than other wines, not only in Valpolicella – in ‘resveratrol’.
This is a defensive substance produced by the vine, which also has a proven antioxidant function that prevents the production of free radicals, with beneficial effects on human health.

WINE AS
A NATURAL ANTIOXIDANTResearch has shown that a moderate consumption of resveratrol-rich red wine is correlated to a decrease in cardiovascular risk. More specifically, resveratrol is directly responsible for a number of specific protective effects, counteracting the oxidation of LDL cholesterol (Low Density Lipoprotein) in the blood (for the prevention of ischemia) and cellular ageing.
From research carried out at the University of Parma, it has emerged that the high content of substances with antioxidant properties in our Company’s red wines is a very important qualitative feature, since it guarantees significant longevity in our products.
